Spike had the same problem, and ended up having TEN baby teeth removed (six regular and four canines) when he was neuteured. It is a simple and common procedure, and he was fine by the next day.
I was told that if you leave them in too long, several problems can result, including the adult teeth growing in at wrong angles, causing bite problems, and infection can also become a problem. Talk to your vet. I'm sure you'll find it a common occurence, particularly in smaller breeds. |
