My MIL just got one on sale for $800, but didn't get an attachment lens. I liked it, but didn't really like that you had to look thru the eye piece, instead of looking thru the screen too. If that makes sense. And it was pretty heavy too - that surprised me. I am not use to doing the focusing by hand, where you have to turn the lens....that was a little hard to get used to. BUT she really loves it......and she said it was recently on sale at Sam's Club for $600.
