We are crate training Caji and it is working well.
When he is out of the crate we only allow him two rooms in the house to run in and I monitor when he eats and needs out in the daytime. Yes it does keep you hopping but I am retired so gives me something to do, if I had small children I would certainely be run ragged with the Yorkie energy too.
Our yorkie hardly ever makes a sound, occasional puppy whine when he wants somthing, has never barked yet either, he growls when he is in his crate fixing his bed, thats it. He is so quiet compared to our other yorkie.
The one thing I have noticed though are his ears do not stay up, some days thier up and then down again, oh well he is just as cute with them down as up.
We start puppy classes next month, that should be interesting, looking forward to it.
