The parents should have never given a 10 year old a puppy. It is terrible to think of the puppy miserable all the time just because they wanted to teach their daughter some responsibility - have her do the laundry & clean the kitchen not make the health & welfare of a defenseless animal be at stake. This little girl is just that, a little girl, her parents need to take on the responsibility of caring for the puppy or give the puppy to someone who will give her the love she deserves. I hope they wise up & give her to you soon.
