Please take her to another vet. No good vet will leave you without explaining what is going on. It is probably ear mites or a yeast infection. They would have to put some of the gunk under a microscope for an accurate diagnosis. Maybe they are just being lazy. Ear mites would be black but the way you explain it it sounds like a yeast infection and along with the med they could've given you cleaner.
