Well...it depends...is the vet going to put her on Science Diet? If so, I wouldn't give that under any circumstances - even SD's allergy foods have, you guessed it, allergens! Really odd.
Are you firm on sticking w/ a kibble (vs. homecook or raw)? If so, I would keep her on the Wellness for at least 6 wks. before changing again. Also, get some Eicosaderm (fish oil w/ vitamin E) from Vet America (online) for some skin/coat support. Another option would be to try a "fish kibble" like Orijen 6-Fish - so that she stays away from all meat entirely.
If you're willing to homecook or go raw...that's a whole 'nother subject! (but it would probably treat her the best)
