My boy is chipped from the Yorkie Rescue group I work for.....he's never been lost (thank god) so we've never needed it....my girl wasn't chipped...I should have had it done when she was spayed, but didn't think of it all those years ago....Worked for a vet for many years...Just like getting your ears pierced...the chip is tiny and it's over in a second.

If I had a new one...I'd do it in a second.
