I'm not a breeder and thank goodness, LOL! I just can't imagine how hard it is, even though I know it's a ton of work and feeding etc, etc....but still......my breeder had only 2 girls and one boy in the litter and they didn't even give us a choice, LOL....they were keeping the "runt" and we could choose from the other two. It worked out perfectly b/c my neighbor wanted a girl, and I just wanted whatever Max was, LOL. I think it might be a teensy bit touchier with relatives, but she's got to respect the fact of all the time and emotion and effort you've put into the little one....I can't imagine anyone being upset over that; you KNOW the baby...they really don't. At least, not like you do.
