i'm sorry Sailor is having back problems. The hospital i work in has a neurologist so i see back dogs every day. A lot of them end up having surgery and they do quite well afterwards. Its a long hard road tho compared to a knee surgery. If she doesn't get better soon she should probably get an MRI done to find out what the problem is. Steroids might be able to help her or they might not. if your going to wait and see, restriction is key. carry her in and out to go potty and unfortunately she needs to stay in the crate all the time unless she is sitting with you.
