You need to be extremely careful in the selection of your bitch if you plan to breed. Do you know her lines really well? I would stay in close contact with this breeder until this is solved. Truth is if it were me I think I would return the pup if there is even a doubt as to the integrity of the breeding and go with a breeder who will mentor me and help me to become a breeder of excellence. It's one thing if it's a pet but you just can't settle on your breeding stock.
