Are you feeding dry food? Feeding dry food means they get no water in their diet so they have to drink a lot more on their own. High protein dry foods mean they'll drink even more water than lower protein dry foods. Maybe if you try canned food instead of dry, the water drinking will slow down since he'll be getting a lot more water in his diet. I feed Lacy a raw diet that has a lot of moisture in it and she doesn't drink a whole lot of water on her own.
