Like the others, I wonder why you want a litter also? The first 9 weeks is the easy part...it is the next 12 weeks and taking care of mom and the litter that wears me out..
I took a trip once and left my husband with a litter of five pups who were 8 weeks old...it was ONLY TWO days...when I returned I asked what he did while I was away..he said all he did for 48 hrs was take care of puppies.
