Seems he's using the carpet by the door to go potty between outside potty breaks. Not sure how long he's been doing this but there are about 5 or 6 spots on the carpet. I'll have to get out the carpet cleaner and hope I can get the smell out. I had been giving Max more freedom in the house because I thought he was doing so well but I guess it's back to strict crate training.

This whole potty training stuff is getting really old. I hate to admit it but I'm really wishing I had got a different breed of dog.
it is very frustrating. when i thought mine was getting the hang of it at 8 months so i started leaving her out of her pen when i was gone for a very short period of time, only to discover that she was going to a certain area of the basement and peeing on the concrete. so she went back in the ex-pen when i wasn't around. i did this for another few months then tried again. now at 1 1/2 years i trust her completely in my home.
