this happened to my puppy about two weeks ago. He strained for about and hour and I was so histerical over it my husband thought that the dog was dead from the way I was crying. It turned out that I did not know that you are not supposed to give little puppies raw hide alot. So the vet sayed that his poop was very grity and hard to push out and put him on a bland diet. Emergancy over! Thank gosh!
