i'm sorry your mom wants you to rehome your cockatiel. my mom wasn't fond of mine either because of the mess she made. I rehomed mine because i felt she wasn't getting enough attention. She now lives with a nice lady i used to work with who has another cockatiel. they all get along great and i'm sure she's much happier.
