The thing is I don't have much time to handle my yorkie's birth and be at her side for 9 straight weeks. I know it might sound cruel, but my work work work bogs down about 12 hours of a day. Yet, I really want my Chestnut to have babies - just once. Then, I'm spaying.

Can anyone help me out with this info? I know i probably didn't word it too well, but i hope you understand me.

thanks!
why do you really want chestnut to have babies? is it because you want a puppy out of her, you think she needs to experience motherhood, or you want your children to see the miracle of birth? these are some of the selfish reasons people breed their dogs. believe me, chestnut will thank you for spaying her and not breeding her. You admitted your self that you cannot even care for her when she's pregnant or after she's had the puppies. She can DIE giving birth if your not there or don't have time devoted to her. The puppies can die after birth as well. If you are not home with them a good portion of the day many things can happen and you won't be there to stop them. Mom can push a puppy away or a puppy can appear to be nursing but really isn't. And if your gone for 8-12 hours at work that puppy will die.

Have chestnut spayed. You will lessen her chances of getting mammary cancer, ovarian cancer, or pyometra.
