I believe about 3000 lights . . I was really planning on buying a pre-lit one as it sure is a lot of work to put all the lights but hubby must know me so well as he said I will definitely not be happy with whatever is on the pre-lit tree and will add more lights anyway so why go out and spend
. . he is right . . .I have had this tree for over 10 years now and although I would love to have a live one, I think the tree will die in less than a week with all the lights I put on
