If you're not having any symptoms, I really wouldn't worry. If you are concerned, talk to your Dr. about your symptoms and he can advise you on possible tests or even getting his hands on your birth records for you to figure out the original issue. It sounds like something that corrected itself though- some chemical imbalances will do that.
