Dogs only sweat through their nose and the pads of their feet + panting, so that is definetly not it...

A yeast infection in the ear would have to be pretty bad to smell. Bruce had a slight ear infection from moisture somehow getting in and I barely noticed other than him scratching his ear. If he has a yeast infection in the ear you should be able to see or lightly swab and see brownish/black ear wax build up (more than a dog would have normally)...

My guess is that it is due to the medications he has had. Things like that tend to seep out pores and it is unpleasant but probably not harmful.
