I also feel your concern should be with the age of this little pup and not so much
about the other animals ( and yet I don't know much about how birds react) I
think 12 wks is a perfect time or longer if you are talking about a smaller than
average puppy. The time with their littermates is so important to make them good
with other dogs later in life. Yorkies litter sometimes are only one but even with
that the case, the mother is teaching that little one every day and they need time.
Has your friend been breeding quite awhile?? You can always call a vet but the
info you get on this site is wonderful. I'm new to it and I am just amazed!!
