Most of the time, but not always. I have a breeding female who has yet to have her temp drop before delivery. She should give you plenty of warning though. I'm sure you have already presented her with a whelping box/area. Prior to whelp, she will seek a quiet secluded area (hopefully the box!) and will begin nesting. Good luck!
