I have had yorkies for 18 years, my oldest grandson is now just 18 and he has been great, listened to us. the younger on is now 13 years old, he did not listen so well.. but we watched him carefully, now at 13 years old, I think he should work at a vets office, the yorkie's and any animal seem to gravitate to him and his gentle ways..I sometimes wonder if the way he is today had a lot to do with him being trained and watched carefully as a youngster.
