I have a 13 year old and a 4 year old. Zoe is still a pup I guess at 10 months but she is fine with them. My 4 year old is good with her and she just loves him. I have 10 nephews & nieces (mostly nephews) and she just loves everyone. She's pretty happy go lucky, but prefers my lap over anyones. I would probably say though, that I might prefer a bigger yorkie with younger ones just because I didn't really realize just how tiny they are. Zoe is about 5 lbs but my sister has a 10+lb yorkie and they are both small dogs but I think hers is not quite so fragile. I couldn't imagine having one smaller than 5lbs and that's not just because of my kids, even I have stepped on Zoe's paw accidentally.... |
