How scary. I've noticed that stuff like this tends to happen a lot close to the holidays. Evil people will go and steal someone's pet to give it to someone else , or maybe even sell it for Christmas. unfortunately you're right it does happen alot around the holidays. In my efforts to try to find my friends baby I spoke with some officers in town. They told me that microchipping is great if they get scanned, if they were stolen they would not think twice about causing the baby pain and taking the chip out, and if they know what they are doing then a strong magnet run ontop of the chip can damage it. He told me the best so far is a tattoo. I will checking prices on that. But if a thief is determined they will find a way.
