Luckily Lacy has only ever chewed up one of my shoes before. And like I said, my fault for leaving them lying around. They were some cute hot pink high heals, but luckily they were very inexpensive. Lacy was younger when she did it. She hasn't chewed any shoes since then. I usually leave some flip flops and a pair of tennis shoes by my front door all the time and she never messes with them.
You know what I don't understand are toys that look like shoes! Why would you give your dog a shoe to play with?!? Seems like they might confuse the toy with real shoes...
