How stupid... just keep the stupid shoes put up where they belong (not laying around everywhere) and the dog can't chew on it. I've always said if a dog gets ahold of something, it's YOUR fault...we have the ability to put items away or up high where dogs can't reach them. If shoes are laying on the floor and a dog chews them...owners fault
