My hubby is gone most of the week and only home on weekends. I don't ever use them when I'm home alone. Ever. And I only use them when I really can't get back to sleep or know I absolutely HAVE to get a good night's sleep when he's home. If I had children I probably wouldn't use them either, but actually, I can still hear some stuff thru them. I just worry about if someone was trying to get in the house; even though Max would hear it before I would anyhow and start barking; I don't feel comfortable when we're alone.
