I had a rescue lab that was 6 yo when we got her. Her name was Baby and I absolutely hated it! We tried different names with her and notice she recognized any word with that E sound on the end. We changed her name to Bailey and she was fine with it. Is your name similar to the name now? If not I think I would call her by both linked for a bit and then slowly but surely try to drop the first more and more....Good Luck
