We are in the NW corner of MO and got hit pretty major with that ice storm. We haven't had electricity since 6:30 am. Tues. morning. We got a generator plugged in last night, so now I can have a tv on and my computer.
We freeze the deep freeze overnight so nothing thaws in there. We don't have running water because the pump in the well works off electricity. But, we do have a wood stove so we're toasty warm and can cook pretty much anything just fine.
Here's a few pictures of what our battle zone looked like. Today, we got an additional 6 - 7 in. of snow on top of all this!
