The biggest thing is get everything that could be in the baby's reach UP HIGHER!
just stand in the middle of a room and carfeully look around everywhere.... if its at your waist or lower or near something that can be climbed and reached....They EAT IT!
I had no idea how bad it was going to be.
You could also start practicing new habits such as ALWAYS keeping closets closed. My baby ate a countless number of shoes while she was teething...i could never get the hang of closing the door all the way and she would stick her nose in until it opened.
Find a place for the puppy pad if you will be going that route....for the food and water dishes....bed, toys etc.
The most fun of all is shopping online.... with a storm out there you could totally get started on that. Youre going to need plenty of toys and treats to keep a puppy entertained.
