Hello all -
I am new to this site (just joined today). I'm incredibly excited about getting my little girl Yorkie next weekend. She is 3 years old and has been given a name since birth by her breeder. She does have a pretty name however I'd like to change it to one I've always loved and always thought I would name a puppy once I got one. This little girl is 3 years old however and I don't want to upset her or confuse her. I've had some conflicting views from people ranging from (don't do it she will get confused and upset, to go ahead after all it is the tone of your voice they respond to and the loving, not so much the pronunciation of a name).
I'd appreciate any comments or opinions.
