I was out last night at a bar with some friends and we were taking pictures. One of my friends took my camera to show my other friend the picture, but the other friend inadvertantly knocked the camera to the ground.
My camera lens is now broken and won't revert back into the camera
The problem: this camera was a birthday present from my boyfriend and I only received it a few months ago...and there is only a manufacturer defect warranty, so it will likely have to be fixed at a high cost.
Who should pay? Should I pay because it was an accident? Or should my friends pay because they were the ones who actually broke the camera?
I'm really annoyed at myself for even bringing my camera out now...I love to take pictures and document fun stuff..but I regret EVER bringing it out
