Sounds interesting. Please let me know how it works out for you. I would think that would be fine if you use the tray, but I have never done that. The tray will probably help your pup keep them straight for training purposes, but like I said, I have no idea.
The washable ones I use are made from reclaimed hospital pads with the waterproof back. Little Bit (Nancy) here on YT makes them, and Gizmo doesn't confuse those with clothes on the floor.
We don't leave clothes on the floor often anyway because he tends to chew on them or run off with them. It's pretty embarrassing to have your bra show up in the living room when you have company!
