I do alot of printing and what I've learned in the last 7 years is using generic ink or filling your own cartridges can really mess up a printer. I advise spending the extra money to get the Ink from the MFG - that way - you aren't using something of lesser quality. I use only Manufacturers ink - I found that out the hard way years ago when I went thru 3 printers in one year. I was ordering ink online and the quality wasn't the same as real ink from the MFG - it was really hard on my printers.

Try doing a deep cleaning - if your using 'generic' ink - it can mess with the printer 'heads' which it totally different than the cartridges - IF it is a printer head problem - you can order new printer heads from the MFG

I buy my printers from COMP USA cause they have a 2 year return/upgrade program. It cost 50 bucks but for the amount of printing I do, it's WAY Worth it cause when my printer clogs or prints badly I can bring it in and get a new one.

for your problem - go to your 'maintenence' options and click NOZZLE CHECK - if nothing prints - run a DEEP CLEANING (once) or regular 'CLEANING' and run that 3 times. Anything more than that just wastes your ink. After you do that - do an Alignment Check -

if nothing works-you may have to look into getting new 'printer heads' ...sometimes it's cheaper to get a new printer - they can be expensive.

Good luck - if you need help you can pm me - I have lots of printer problem experience LOL
