Default take the yorkie!

i have to agree with the others that 5 weeks is very young! they are so small at this age. there is a risk of hypoglycemia in small breed puppies, so you really have to be careful and know what to look for and make sure the puppy is eating. i would ask your friend if you could wait until at least 8 weeks and make sure the pup has its shots.

yorkies and other breeds usually get along well. i have two pugs and my yorkie (who is the king of the castle around here) loves them and "tolerates" them! it's all about early socialization.
