I think canned food is better than dry anyway. Dry food is so overcooked and overprocessed and lacks moisture. Canned food is less processed and has moisture in it that's better for them. Stay away from proplan. It is crap. Good canned foods are Nature's Variety Instinct, Innova Evo, California Natural, Merrick, Wellness, Canidae, among others. I prefer grain-free
