I do know that white westinghouse appliances has a very bad reputations and I also found out that the Kenmore washers have the same parts.

I have a Maytag washer and Kenmore dryer. I don't mind that they don't match exactly as long as they last a long time. Got them Aug. 01 and so far so good. We bought a new Hoover wind tunnel vacuum a few months ago and that thing was such a lemon. We sat in on the curb and put a FREE sign on it and bought a Kenmore Progressive Direct Drive. I LOVE it. It was the Consumers Report Best Buy. I always looking in the CR before making any major purchases. So far so good.
