Wow, that's amazing that she's offering it to you for free, but I would not take it until at least 8 weeks. I took my puppy at 6 weeks and have no regrets, but I think 8 weeks is the ideal age to leave their mom. I'm glad you're not planning on breeding. Very admirable.
I'm sure the new puppy will do fine with your animals. I have a Yorkie, a Golden/Chesapeake X, a rabbit, and 3 ferrets and my Yorkie plays with and gets along with all of them, no problem.
Crate training is probably the best method you can use to housetrain a Yorkie. Although...I'm not the one to ask about that...lol
