Yes you definitely can. It's the best time to do it since she'll already be asleep and will be recovering anyway. I had a friend whose yorkie's dewclaw either grew back or wasn't removed at all before and she had it removed when he was neutered. He just wore a little bandage on his leg for a few days.

I definitely recommend removing it as it can get caught on something and tear...and then you'll have to remove it anyway.
