Welcome!!! My babies sleep with me and have from day one. But not everyone does. It's personal preference and depends on whether your baby is house trained. I bought a teflon mattress protector from Walmart. It's material, but even if you spill a whole glass of water on it, the mattress will not get wet. That way, should your baby have an accident or get sick, you can strip the bed, throw everything in the washing machine and your mattress stays clean and dry! It's worth every penny! |
