 Shots & Teeth
Hi Everyone!
I took my two girls in this morning for shots. Bailey is 2, 5lbs 3 oz & Angel is 1 3lbs 8oz.
They just needed boosters today and Baileys eyes are running again..sighhh
They both did ok with the first shot but the bordatello shot (which my vet prefers rather then the spay she says it lasts longer and doesn't cause side effects as the spray does) Bailey let out a little yelp and was fine (the vet says it burns and itches for a few seconds) but Angel yelped and yelped for about a min, I was about ready to cry. Angel is so quiet, rarely barks and is just a laid back dog. I felt really horrible, like when your infant child is getting shots. Angel then licked me and proceeded to ignore me...she is mad at me!
Anybody else have experience like this?
Angel is a yorkie biewer and her breath is bad, the vet looked at her teeth and says they have alot of build up on them for her age.
She eats mostly dry food has a ton of chewys and toys.
Anything I can use to keep the tartar down?
I really do not want to put her under to clean her teeth. |
