I had one of my females do this, almost like she was skipping. I was just for sure she had luxating patella. She is one of my breeding dogs and just came of age and I raised her from a baby, so I was pretty upset, I was looking forward to breeding her and I wouldnt be able too.
Xray was negative! Guess what it was?! A tiny burr. I let my dogs play outside alot in the summer months and a little burr bush was at the side of the kennel I hadnt seen. The sharp little burr was lodged deep between two toes and I couldnt see it from the hair. Once removed she was okay. One damned expensive burr !
