I have a question about colour changes that I hoped some more knowledgeable yorkie owners could help me with.
I'm wondering what the general phases of colour changes are. Like, what order the different parts of their bodies change in as the hair grows. Is there any usual pattern for development or is it different with every Yorkie?
Suzy's 5 months old now and head is very grey/silver, it started getting grey at about the 3 month stage.
At 4 months she started getting some blue/silver coming through on her belly and some more gold hair around her backside.
Now at 5 months the bottom parts of her legs are very gold around the bottom and at the top it's quite white/silver. Around her face underneath the dark hair under her eyes it's a very light gold. The hair down the back of her neck is also starting to get some grey/silver regrowth.
When should her back start to get grey? Does this come last?
This is my first Yorkie, I'm just wondering what to expect.
