I can diagnose what's wrong with your Kitchen aide...it's a belt. That's what makes it spin and drain the water out. It also probably needed adjusting when you were having just the poor drain problem. Do you know anyone handy? My husband and both my brothers have replaced the belts on washers...so maybe you could find someone to fix yours for you.

OR go buy a new one....I lean towards that myself alot of times. LOL.

I haven't had big problems with large appliances...but man...my first microwave lasted 10 years....my last THREE....obviously not. And new costs less than repairing them...so one dies...I just start over.

Now that I have it pulled out I will take the back off and check the belt. This machine isn't even a year old Thanks.
