I have several yorkie-rescue success stories; two of them living with me right now. Some warm up quickly, others take a while. I've had my sweet Harry several months now and he's just now to the point of wanting to sit in my lap. It was worth the wait.
Love and patience will do the trick. She may not love you the way you want, but trust me, she'll love you. They're smarter than you think and she'll soon figure out she's landed in the lap of luxury.
