If we can't bring them, we drive the 4+ hours to my parent's mountain house to drop off the babies and then go on our trip from there. We travel to Florida a lot and my parents have another house in Florida too- we are pretty careful to match up our travel plans to when my parents can babysit and where they will be at the time.
