I know I do not know you personally, but last Friday I thought about you. I was in court as usual on the civil motions calander and there was an evidentiary motion being heard that required testimony. It was the civil suit in a case very similar to yours. I watched the victim get absolutly battered by the defense attorney and she broke down completly. I thought to myself how strong and determined you must be to have been able to do that. Certainly stronger than I myself could be.
No matter what the outcome (which I am sure will be "guilty") you did something most people could not, you helped that other victim probably more than you will ever know, and you made others aware of a serious problem. Just remember no matter what happens in the courtroom that will not be this person's final judgment, and you did the right thing even though it was not the easy thing!!! |
