Some Yorkies can be sensitive to anesthesia. They have vaccine reactions quite ofen. Their eyes can be runny and some get yeast infections in their ears. Pancreatitis is a bit of a concern. I know I"m missing some. Going with a reputable breeder may put your Yorkie at a lesser risk than others.
Their life expectancy is 12-15 years but some live lots longer.
