Yorkies are prone to luxating patella (dislocated knee caps sometimes requiring surgery), collapsed trachea, liver shunt and Microvascular Dysplasia and periodontal disease.

Some Yorkies can be sensitive to anesthesia. They have vaccine reactions quite ofen. Their eyes can be runny and some get yeast infections in their ears. Pancreatitis is a bit of a concern. I know I"m missing some. Going with a reputable breeder may put your Yorkie at a lesser risk than others.

Their life expectancy is 12-15 years but some live lots longer.
