I've only been a yorkie owner for a little over a year and so far I haven't taken Adie anywhere if I needed to ask permission. I'd love to take her to Florida with me when I visit my son and DIL because they are dog lovers and would love to see her. However their dog tends to kill small animals. I can't take that chance with him. I love him dearly and love to visit him but no way will I trust him around my baby. I won't take her to my boss's house either. She has told me to bring Adie and Cassie but she has three cats and I think they could get hurt. Not that cats can't live with dogs but these three aren't used to dogs. Anyway. I agree about asking permission. I know I'm furious with people when they bring uninvited children to my house. I don't think there is a whole lot of difference between the two situations. |
